Based off another of my favorite Japanese cartoons, called "Vision of Escaflowne" this painting illustrates the love between the main characters Van and Hitomi. 

Though it is my version of a climactic scene in the series, I heavily influenced this piece on a famous sculpture titled "Cupid and Pysche" by Antonio Canova. 

Like the others the piece was done in opague water color.
